The new Mentor Hospital demonstrates Cleveland Clinic’s dedication to provide a “state-of-the-art hospital offering world-class care to Lake and Geauga County residents.” Mentor Hospital is a new concept, based on the needs of the community. It is managed by Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital, allowing for ease of patient transfers and a shared staffing model.
Within the 3-story hospital are 34 inpatient rooms, 19 emergency beds, a family health center, 4 operating rooms and pre/post operations, an imaging department, a pharmacy, and administrative areas. The centerpiece of the building is a light-filled, welcoming 2-story atrium. The exterior of the building brings natural light deep into the building.
