The goal of the project is to establish compelling and inspiring improvement concepts for the northern entrance of Union City’s commercial district by: tying in the existing architecture and history of the downtown; paying homage to the iconic Union City Dinor; enhancing and visually connecting the northwest, southwest, and southeast corners of the gateway location, as well as the municipal parking lot located southwest of the intersection; providing re-use options of the Ohrn Building at 46 N. Main Street and the adjacent Union City Dinor property; aligning with the goals of the Union City Historic Preservation Plan; encouraging motorists to enter and explore Union City’s downtown businesses and green space.

Since 1962, Bostwick Design Partnership has worked to impact the way patients heal, students learn, employees work, and communities are served through architecture.
