Centralized patient care.
UPMC decided to centralize their invasive and non-invasive programs for their Heart and Vascular Institute. The program included administrative offices, procedure labs for catheterization, advanced procedures, electrophysiology, echo, stress and transesophageal echo along with supporting pre and post procedure patient care rooms. The 84,500 SF of space is to be completed over six phases. To date, two phases have been completed; the administrative offices and several of the interventional labs.
