Cleveland-Marshall College of Law
Cleveland State University
Welcoming for everyone.
Cleveland State University’s Cleveland-Marshall College of Law wanted to create an engaging learning environment for a rigorous curriculum that includes legal writing, a law clinic, externships, student-edited journals, and moot court competitions. The former façade now serves as the backdrop for a glassy 3-level pavilion full of light-filled spaces. Open and approachable, it reveals the activity within, welcoming the public to a renewed College of Law. The pavilion contains student lounges, conference rooms, and vertical circulation.
The spaces deeper in the existing building also benefited from significant transformation, including the Moot Courtroom, classrooms, seminar rooms, law clinic, trial courtroom, offices of the Dean, student lounges, and much of the building’s public circulation.
